Hi,

Does the 1/2 mini mag come with a battery and will an original tail cap still fit the light? Also, does it still retain the focusing feature or is it a stationary beam? Thank you.

Sure it comes with AW14500
The focus is fixed
The stock tailcap fits but then the light won't turn off.
The MagLED Drop-in is held in place with a spring also completing the circuit when the head is turned in. It does not turn off like a normal minimag

Sorry in the picture I just noticed I had a plastic Mag lens in the 1/2 MiniMag and Glass lens in the Forky MiniMag
I put the glass back in the 1/2 MiniMag and a fresh out the box plastic lens in the Forky
That picture looks like theres damage and dust on the reflector but it was just an old plastic lens.

No it has head threads and tail threads only and fits a 17500 or 2 CR2

It means you get the maglite, Kroll, clip, and the rubber thing to keep the kroll button from popping off

Found the answer. It does not. It is a close copy of an E1 body without clip times 1.5 length.
