I just remember a wonderful app that is completely free and has some great features. And that from a person very good in PS and many other high end aaps.
The link for it is http://www.xnview.com and there is no nag screens, nothing but great features. I think it has more import filters than any app I'm aware of even Conversion Plus I have been upgrading for yrs. Also does lossless Jpeg for camera work. I have it set for my default image app. And yes it FLIPS H or V.
