Anyone have lamps with the Mougal base socket? The ones I use are 100-200-300 three way. We have a large main room so we need the extra light.

The problem is they are getting hard to locate locally. Has anyone heard of a LED with the Mougal base.

They are are just a larger version of the Edison bulb, and work quite well for large lamps for high ceilings.

I would love love even a custom version in LED.

Any info. would be wonderful.

Best,

RL

I remember seeing mogul-to-medium base adapters. If that works, you could then use any LED you want. I don't know of any LEDs that are 300W equivalent though.

That's the type of socket they used to use for the red aircraft-warning lights on radio towers when they were incandescent; so what do they use now?
