Older Spy 007's Which version to buy?

Sapphire is just the evolution of the 007. The Tri-V is something special.

I don't mean just as an ordinary light but the Tri-V no contest for me between the two.

I'm saving for a 007 Sapphire xpl hi 5000k (no Vault, no Vegas). The Tri-V is spectacular, but I really like the sleek look of the 007... so I vote Sapphire. :)

I even prefer the stealth look over the fancy grips. Or maybe I'm just telling myself that because I can't possibly afford the fancy ones. hee haw

It's funny, I have pictures of the tri-v, from 10 years ago. I was pretty clueless about the custom light world, back then,(when $250 for a SureFire, was a lot of money!) but I always loved the light! I guess that means it's my grail light, right!:)

You can't go wrong with any version of the 007. Obviously the newer the better, but I am very happy with my XP-G version.
