Smallest regulated P4 light, E-Micro! Now Shipping!

I would like to change this thread to a pre-payment thread. In order to reserve an Extreme Micro, I will need payment in advance in order to make this run become a reality. I will offer two configurations of drive currents to the LED which are: 440ma and 350ma. Please specify when sending payment, by PM or on this thread. I apologize its taken some time to finalize everything. More details below:

CR2, a common battery size, can be found wherever you get your KI batteries. Department and photo stores have them. Of course the internet would have the best prices. I wanted to make sure the lights will always have an easy to find source of power. So no exotic cells will go into the small E-Micro.

Based on the internal dimensions of the Japanese Katokichi Ichishiki (KI) and Katokichi Ichishiki-Tactical (KI-T) light, the EM is approximately 24% smaller then the KI and 30% smaller then the KI-T through the use of a new reduced-size converter. The finished light is 43.5mm in length which is still extremely small for a CR2 powered light.

You'll be getting the usual stuff that I put in other lights. The EM will have a hand tested, premium grade, SSC-P4 emitter surrounded by a custom ground aluminum reflector. Shielding the emitter is a SchottB270 ultra-clear glass with AR coating on both sides. The T6061 grade aluminum body will be natural hard anodized with "MJP" engraved on the head. O-rings will be sealed for limited waterproofing. And like the other lights, future upgrades are easy because of the threaded light engines.

The light will cost $174 - 19% cheaper than yet twice as bright as the KI lights. The lights will be shipped from Japan Global Express with tracking. For each light sold, I'm donating $4 to CPF to keep the lights on.

I'd like to invite you to get in line for this newest custom light. Expected finish date is 8 to 10 weeks starting from the 18th. I'll be taking pre orders until June 26th in which I will need advance payment in order to make this a go for those wanting an Extreme Micro. I need to sell in advance as many as possible.

Re: ANNOUNCING the smallest regulated P4 light, the all-new E-Micro.

Is it really smaller than a Draco or a Drake?
Or do you not count them because they have Cree-XREs?

I'd like to purchase the E-Micro Beauty..! Can you please tell or show us what the engraved surface will look like? I wish you every success on your E-Micro project. Cordially, Richard...

Like it... If what you say is to be expected, I'm in... :)
If they will be serialized, #004 for me ;)

Also, what is the reflector-diameter ?

I´m in for one if it would be possible to get one in pure aluminum instead of natrual hard anodising.

Mike, will the converter handle RCR2 voltage also, or will this new light be a primary CR2 cell only?

Thanks

Attachment point please! It looks very slippery as is? Might be interested with my concerns addressed.
