I'm building a laser for a friend to do wood burning artwork with.
I was thinking around 1w should be enough but I have no real experience to back that up.
I need high duty cycle too.

between 1w and 2w should be good. anything higher might burn to fast

Ok, so a 1.5a driver/host kit from survivallaser should be sufficient?
