Problem with Shark Buck

I've got the two shark bucks you sold me really quick so thanks for that.
Unfortunately however I'm not having much joy soldering them up and
wondered if you could help (it's the first shark series driver I've used).

I wired it up (as best I could tell) as per the diagram/image on your
site. Please see attached image for my configuration.

I'm driving 3 x XMLs in series, using a cutter triple board. Wired as:

+LED --> LED+ on board
-LED --> LED- on board

Vin --> battery positive
Grd --> battery negative

I initially tried a 20v 5S lipo battery and got a spark and pop. I assumed
I went over voltage and blew the thing up. I notice however the forums say
max voltage is 24-25v?

Calling it a bad day, I wired the 2nd shark up the same, but this time
using a 11v 3S lipo pack. This time I just get nothing. LEDs have been
tested independently and work fine. I tried to adjust the trimpot, but
still nothing.

Please see picture below. Top wires going to board, bottom to battery.

Hi,

Further to may last, I've checked and seem to be getting vf as a negative. I've further checked polarity on my power leads and this seems fine.

I've no idea what the issue is, any help would be appreciated.
