It's really easy to cut the insert tube out of these and use AW C batteries. The side charging jack still works!


I did it the hard way the first time but simply:


- take switch out of the front (remove ring)
- unscrew charging jack
- push tube out the back
- cut the tube off the charging ring
- put it all back together...

Hi folks, here is another innovation from FiveMega
Rechargeable 1x18650 and 2x18650 M*g "C"
Many of you use 2x18650 in a 2C M*g with Deep tail cap and PVC tube for 7.4 volt operation to push a CL1057 which is an excellent combination and choice.
Here I have everything in a M*g "C" flashlight which comes with integrated built in charging jack, PVC tube and also no need to purchase a deep tail cap.
I have shortened these 3C M*gs to minimum required size to accomodate 2 protected 18650 cells. Tail cap is deep machined, head is reshaped and finned for best heat dissipation, body is grooved for better grip, completly deanodized, highly polished and finally nickel plated or Hard anodized type III for attractive look.
You can also use mentioned deep tail cap in 2x18650 body to operate 11.1 volt using 3x18500 set up.
1x18650 is excellent choice for LED lovers.
It is highly recommended to use this charger for easy, safe and quick recharging without need of removing tail cap. Center pin is positive and I will include a male charging jack with each flashlight.
Nickel plated Crown is not included but optional.
Flashlights are not physicaly numbered and all following numbers will help me and you to follow how many is available, how many gone and or left. So please choose and post any available lower number, size and finish.
It is [SIZE=+1]NECESSARY[/SIZE] to note same information in Paypal including your CPF handle.

Great work. I have found my pre 1990 5D and would like to modify it.
I will need a metal relector, glass and power options. I would be grateful for any helpful advice as my initial lookout for rechargeable lithiun D cell proved fruitless!
