I also love the Lumintop Tool AA but there are two negatives.
When using a 14500 battery, it just goes out when the battery has had enough. Not sure if it does the same with a standard AA.
The blue light on the tailcap definitely depletes the battery. I also have an Eagtac D25A and if I just leave them both unused for a month or so, using identical batteries, the battery in the Lumintop needs charging for quite a lot longer.
I can live with these as I like the Lumintop a lot, but it would be nice if instead of going out, it dipped to a lower level for a while.
