Sounds like a XP-L Hi led, instead of the regular XP-L that had to be dedomed after.

Agreed it does sound like an XP-L HI V3.

Is your M2X UT cool white? If it is, then it's most likely to be XP-L HI V3. Olight has been waiting for these for a while and used them in the SR52 UT.

The only problem with this is that doesn't throw as far as XM-L2 U4 Dedome or XP-L HD V6 with a factory mini dome.
