It have for example a DC-DC Mode. For some unknown reason it cant go below 5V. Have someone understood why? Is the output unstable below 5V with no load and thats why they disabled under 5V in their firmware?
The opensource firmware replacement https://github.com/stawel/cheali-charger when it gets support for the B6v2 CPU ( STM32F103 ) would maybe make it possible to remove the limits and test that out.
