Got mine in the mail today. I just couldn't wait until it got dark so I went into the garage (no windows) to test them--they are outstanding!

Let me put my vote in for the PR222 (screw base) version. I've got a couple of Tekna-lites that really need an upgrade.

Work can begin on the PR3+ cell after the Solitaire modules are finished, which should be (hopefully) this week.

Yes, Energizer 1.6V AA lithium cells are ok for use with the SMJ PR2 Bulb.

Also Can your PR3+ bulbs work with any polarity?

Could a light be built with a + base or - depending on a tiny switch or could it work automatically? (Perhaps with a rectifier or would that waste alot of power?)

Wow, $5 for the SMJLED PR bulbs, that's enough motivation for me to finally order some of these, even though I think I only have one 2-cell light that can uses PR base bulbs.
