#2 Grey HA type III $142
3x3 GP2000 cells (end to end soldered) $54
Boro lens $5.50
Shipping $10
-------------------
Total $211.50

Varooj, can you tell me how and what type of solder you use to do those batteries? I have some other sets from you (like those 2/3A's) that I would like to also solder, rather than have them taped together. I just don't know if there is a battery heating up issue, and a correct solder type to have it work out right. You can PM me if you prefer on this. Thanks!

Also, unlike the recent HA 1D I just also bought, this would be able to use my cammed FM reflector with smaller opening, right?

fivemega,

Please send me #3 and #4 21/3 D lights in HAIII. I would also like two of the GP2000 battery packs soldered end to end, four boro lens's, four WA 1185's and two reflectors(1 MOP and 1 HS). PP sent.

Best regards,

Chuck

fivemega,

I already have one of these and I've got my only 2" deep reflector mounted to it.

Is there any chance of you making any more 2" deep reflectors? HAIII??? I can't believe, with all the M*g85's out there that there aren't more people begging you to make more of them.

The beam that comes out of the 2" deep reflector is really a beautiful sight. Intense hotspot, great spill, artifact free. It's one of your most overlooked accomplishments IMO.

Regards,

Chuck

I agree. It would be nice to see more of those, and a few other colors of the retainer top holding them....like blue. I would probably buy 4-5 more of those if I could. They totally eliminate the artifacts, and dramatically improve throw. I hate using regular reflectors anymore.

LuxLuthor,
I get the soldered battery sticks from www.cheapbatterypacks.com
Simply click on custom pack, number of stick cells (in this case 3), battery type, type of battery pack (stick), no wire needed, no plug needed and pick upgraded end to end soldered, finaly number of sticks you need (in this case 3)
You will also need to make a note "NO HEAT SHRINK"
-------------------------
chasm22,
I am surprised not many people like the deep reflector solution.

Varooj, thanks for that info on the battery packs.

About the deep reflectors...anyone who does not RAVE about them is either crazy, or does not have one to see how miraculous they are.

Again, they TOTALLY ELIMINATE ALL BULB ARTIFACTS, and DRAMATICALLY INCREASE THE HOTSPOT & THROW.

I will buy 5 more of them right now on the spot if you would do another run, & send you PayPal in advance.

I would also love to see Blue & Copper bezels added to the selection (& perhaps Chrome) to match my existing FM lights that you sold (I mean the color of blue & copper that was in this 1300 & Spiral 9 x 2/3A NiMH thread)

Hello-I was told by another CPFer to contact you about some stuff so that I can (attempt to!) make a Mag85.
He said that I need a spiral 2.3D size mag bored to take 9 4/5A GP2000 NiMH batteries and the carrier for the cells. Do you have these available?
Few more left.
Please check post #1 for availablity.

Thank you.

If I am reading this correctly, does the updated post #1 mean that you have only 1 copper, 1 red, and 1 HA body left? No more pewter or black? Thanks.

I got one of the HA, and it is absolutely georgeous. In fact if someone doesn't buy his #5 shortly, I'll grab it as a second one....just want to give some others a chance to see FiveMega's superb quality work.

Fivemega-

The offer post seems to indicate that you still have HA available, but later down I see that you had one left and then two more buyers- question is...do you have any of the Spiral HAIIIs still available? If so, I'll take the next one!

Thank you, jar3ds- didn't realize that the table was an actual allocation of available supply but I've got it now...which tells me one copper is available. Gotta think on this..

Much appreciated!
