I'm looking at both these and the Wide/Deep tailcaps; am I correct in thinking that the only reason for the Wide/Deep would be if I want to use 2*18650? Is there any disadvantage to the Wide/Deep over the Wide if I end up just using C-sized cells? Also, would the Wide/Deep be suitable for use with 2*26650?

Finally (almost done, I promise!), what are the length and weight differences between the two styles of tailcap?

By looking at pictures, you will see wide/deep tail caps are much longer and obviously heavier than these Stylish caps.
Again, if you plan to use only Li-Ion protected "C", Stylish caps are your best choice because they are shorter, lighter and will work with 2C M*g or 3C M*g.
If you plan to use 2x18650 in 2C M*g, wide/deep caps are your choice.
For 2x26650, you will need some extension tube or better cut down and rethread 3C M*g.
