Edit: May I ask, this is designed for a luxeon mod right? Do you include the 4xAA holder too? I don't have one - just the 3xAA high resistance ones. Would I just DD a TWOK luxIII or would I need a buck or boost converter too?

- The subD can be used for anything. The key is to use the tailcap as the switch and/or to use one of the new tailcaps with a built-in switch that cmacclel (Mac) has for sale. These are a little bit more involved to build since the switch mechanism is not there, but you are rewarded with a very small package

- As to the TW0K in direct drive from 3 (or 4 cells), you should see this post by modamag - based on that, a 3xAA "should" be OK.

-No, there are no battery holders included. Just the host as stated in the description.

Mag1C (122mm) fits 2x123, 3xCR2, Pila 168S, or one mighty 18650 cell, depending on what tailspring you use in the tailcap
