T6vn - Favorite High Output Thrower

I did some dumb battery spring design in my T6vn testing sample. I stacked a small spring over a large spring and then added a connecting wire for the negative. Positive nub left untouched. Although it can take batts of all size and deliver good current I feel it might not be reliable in the long run due to the very long spring and clumsy extra wire design.. For the production T6vn though. I got a much better design in mind. Double spring for the negatives. One inside of the other. Then a shorter but strong single spring for the positive. This should give excellent contact and reliability. Springs on either end of the batteries are always good for impacts too.

Also going to run some extra fat wires and this set up needs it.

LEDs does need to sit in very close for perfect focus. Only slight tweaks needed here.

Lumen: 6300/5800
Lux: 430K/400K
Max Throw: 1300m Throw

Is the MAX Lumen rating for BOTH Spec 1[PDT] and Spec 2[7000K dome on] or JUST spec 2?

My guess is just spec #2 with the max lux obvious to the spec 1[PDT].

,grazie mille

I think he built only one and that was Spec 1. If true, then the measurements would apply to Spec 1.
Dome on I'm afraid would be quite blue at 7000K. Such a big light would be used outside (I assume) where warmer color would be most beneficial.

My guess is just spec #2 with the max lux obvious to the spec 1 [PDT]. Spec 2 should have higher lumen and less throw..I got a couple of Spec 2 order. Will measure and update. Might even do a quick side by side video.

This LED is very pure white from experience. Techically this LED average around 7150K!!! LOL

Yay! My T6 order is in! Whoopie!
My first big light in a few months. As a matter of fact, it will be my biggest light.
Well, I won't be posting for awhile because my WiFi doesn't reach out to my mailbox where I'll be stationed.
;)

Seee this is why I keep on thinking you are my age or younger! So much youth and life! CHEERS!
Wouldn't it be nice if we can all get together and have a beer! All different ages and background united by light.

Totally - I'm sure we could all make each other laugh with some funny stories for our diverse backgrounds & ages/interests :)

I would seriously pack all my lights and fly over to a big get together

Half of you all wouldn't be able to understand my hickish dialect. Haha

Aye r kid, that ed be wicked !

Spot on!

No, just no.

You would be welcome but if you brought all your lights I would be bankrupt and homeless.

Is the side by side video done yet?

Where is my Toolvn tracking number?

Shouldn't you be power washing something?

Jeez, slacker.

Thanks mad777. I only been in this forum for about 2 months. I do have tn36utvn. Tm16gtvn and k70vn are coming. T6vn looks very nice, and great quality. I need to add this monster t6vn. :)
i don't think you will see much difference between this and your tm16gtvn except that it's shorter and the color of the rubber boots from switch.
