Re: The Lounge

Yayyyyyy - so rad that p60 format is still valid & KILLING IT :)

I may have to send my old VanisleDSM quad back to u again for another emitter update and a driver VN if possible.
I know his shells weren't as good as yers but still... Maybe I need PDTw for that one :)

Re: The Lounge

That would be a PolarLi image.

The picture is from this http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb...-000-lumen-spotlight-project-(with-beamshots) thread.

The light used was a soup pot, I kid you not.

He's posted images from his 1955 Francis restomod of the light. http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb...Arc-Restomod&p=4751624&viewfull=1#post4751624

Wow, Thanks alot everyone for your hunting. Its truly amazing how small the world is nowadays. Thanks NoNotAgain.

The Lounge

Looking forward to some night riding this eve...
Got my quadVN & m2500vn for my bars & helmet.
The dedomed MTG2 is tough to beat for contrast in the fog ... I just LOVE that yellowy tint on wet rocks & leaves.
Not the best for whitewall hunting or CRI etc but the contrast is the best I've seen.

I just wish there were a boost driver to run off of single cell or a side by side host for 1p2s 18650.. 2x18650 is way
too long for my uses.

I'm pretty bummed on changing multiple 18350s in the field to be honest.

Re: The Lounge

I want to test my VN quad dropin in my Solarforce host which has a reverse clicky. Do you guys know if the switch will be able to handle the amps as its a reverse clicky?

Re: The Lounge

Man, creating a website is really hard for me. Give me a 3508 caterpillar diesel engine and I'll rebuild it for you in a week, but this web stuff is killing me. Anyone want to slap together a site on GoDaddy for a few hundred? I've got the first page started, but it's just killing me.

What's the subject matter?

Re: The Lounge

Craziest lights in the sky tonight - huge blue beam & some kind of plume.
Ended up being a missile test.
Crazy.

Amazing!

I did not know it was *possible* to squeeze 2k lumens out of a single XPG2--no matter how good the heat-sinking etc. is.

Is that being driven at 6amps or so?
