Maybe Dave can make them. He has a CNC lathe, after all...We have yet to find a shop that can deliver for the price we need. I can have one run but the cost is more than Dave charges for the SPY Tri-V :sigh:

How much more are we talking about?
Yes it would if only one were run :nana:Tri-V cost more than $2k each...so to make this run, your e-series light will officially be the most expensive e-series around!

It was an amazing light, a technological tour-de-force, but impractical for daily use.Wow. That is heavy.
I deal with a number of CNC shops & even though each shop is different there's one common element - if an order will gross the shop $5,000 USD or more they may be interested (depending on their available machine time, production forecast, etc.) As the total dollar amount goes down so does the incentive to get involved. I presented the concept drawings to a number of shops & did get one to quote ... the body only (no head, no tail, just the two piece body) would sell for $630... wondered what ever happened with this project?
