550 paracord fits comfortably and moves smoothly once threaded through. Anything more would be too tight/ not fit. Hope this helps! Sweet little light, btw. Don't even notice it on my dogtag chain...:)

I have to ask about the big boy the others are resting on!

Is that a 10mm LED or a lens?

Oh, you noticed that...

Originally it was going to be a "true" giant TiFli with a 10mm LED and 3 button batteries but after some scathing looks and a "Why bother?" from the wife:scowl: it wound up with a mini-Flupic, a Sundrop 083 Nichia and a 10180 rechargeable behind a small glass aspheric to focus the beam just a tad.

And it totally looks like a giant TiFli!:twothumbs But seriously guys, chances are high that it will remain a one-off, I wouldn't even know where to price this one. Remounting those Sundrop LEDs on something small enough to fit in this is a royal PITA (this one is on a solid brass slug).

I'll get some dedicated pics of it sometime soon.

Good news and bad news...

Good news first;)

I am caught up on paid orders so another round of payment requests will go out shortly:)

More good news, I got the first FancyFli done:party:. Copper/nickel/brass twist, etched and polished. I haven't patina'd it yet so the contrast between the brass and copper is hard to make out in the photos but it's there. Excuse the number of photos, this stuff is just so dang hard to shoot, hopefully you get the picture:crackup:.

Oh yeah, the bad news... Peter Atwood already has dibs on the FancyFli;), but I do have enough to make one more for now:)

OMG that is BEAUTIFUL!
I sure hope I am in the next queue, although I think not. In any event, PayPal locked and loaded...

that Mokume is fantastic!!!!!!!!!

OTOH, my Ti-Fli arrived last night and i'm stunned: what a tiny tiny beauty!!!
the grooves and polish finish and the depth of the LED recess are perfect.
what a cute bugger.
love the beam, love the tint, love the brightness, love the size,
love the look, love the idea that i don't even know i'm carrying it.
i can't believe how much smaller it is than my Draco.

wow wow wow!!!

thnx chip!

This is an unabashed, runaway hit!

I am sitting here smiling like a fat, proud papa! Chip, you are a grand CREATOR and have made something special here.

I wear this thing on my neck everyday and use it constantly!

Your pic really brings the size of the light into prespective for me!

I think this will look great hanging from my old dog-tag chain. Ti chains are nice but not in the cards for me at the moment.

It is such a nice size, Sarge! And I think it will look great with dog-tags...

Also, Chip: can you please show us more of the Giant TiFli with the Flu-pic! I need to know more!

And for all you guys going nuts in the other thread trying to figure out the size of the lanyard hole... it's done with a 3/16" end mill;)
