Turning Smooth reflector into Orange Peel ???

Can this be done? Which clear spray would be safe to make light fly-overs to turn it onto orange skin for better beam diffusion? Has anyone attempt to do this in the past? I'm talking about big ones, Mag D size reflectors, fixed to the head.

You could try hairspray; but you would probably do better to use diffuser material, which would be more easliy reversible.

Wow... THANKS GUYS... To be honest I didn't think of diffuser on lens for some reason...
