Using A123 cells as super replacement for D cells. Voltage and capacity increase.

I have a Gordon 3D and a Mag-Lite 4 D which using a PVC adapter and flipping the spring need no further modifications except finding the correct bulb that accepts 12.8vdc or 9.6vdc.
