M25C2vnT XPG-2 PDTc Review.

I just received my M25C2vnT and took it and it's little brother the M25C2vn out to compare them. Both are Fiat Lux single mode with an XPG-2 PDTc. To my eyeballs the Turbo seems a bit brighter and throws much further. Justin measured my M25C2vn at 816 lumens and 343,000 lux. He measured the Turbo version at 783 lumens and 775,000 lux. Now the Turbo he measured was not a single mode so mine will be a tad bit brighter and a little more lux.

Here they are facing off

As you can see the Turbo has much larger reflector which is how it is able to put out such a massive lux number.

Here is a shot comparing the beams against a white wall. The Turbo is on the left.

As you can see the Turbo has a smaller and brighter hotspot. The beam of both of these lights is small but with some use able spill. This light is amazing for the amount of lux put out of such a small package. For comparison, my TM36vn puts out about 100,000 more lux but is a much larger light and uses an 8 cell battery pack or a 4 - 18650 battery carrier. The Turbo accepted a protected Sanyo 18650GA fine. Heat wasn't an issue while using for about 6 minutes tonight. The ambient temperature was 83 degrees and the light didn't get hot at all. This is best throwing single 18650 light that Vinh mods and I would not hesitate to highly recommend it for anyone looking for an ultimate thrower in a smaller package. I will get some more pics added as I use the light more. Feel free to PM me any questions.

So I'm new at the review and video thing, so I'm still practicing haha; so easy to miss just one piece of important information! I also never seem to have time at home to do it, so I tend to try to do it at work, which clearly isn't the best scenario haha. I hope to have all reviews done and up by the end of this weekend though. Video one is the main review; two will be beam shots with similar lights for comparison.

Lights:

EC11vn
MH20vn
C22Cvn
S200C2vn XML2 PDTc
M43vn XPG2 PDTc
TK75vnQ
M2Xvn DD XPG2 PDT (if gets here in time)

I have other lights I'd love to do reviews on, but since Vinh isn't selling anymore it doesn't make sense to do it.

Man, video reviews are hard haha!!! It is so hard NOT to miss something. I've done 4 reviews of each light and they still aren't perfect haha. Oh well, they'll just have to do hehe. Writing reviews is a whole lot easier I think, but it doesn't show as much.

No kidding...I am less nervous now when I make them but it still takes many tries.

It worked! My first video review hehe.
TK75vnQ Video 1 review - https://youtu.be/_xvl38SBTtA
TK75vnQ Video 2, beam shots - https://youtu.be/AarBSGmEeSk

I am using a camera which also does video, so the quality, focus (automatic), and realism of the beams in the air and at distance are not completely accurate.
Lights do appear more yellow in the video then in real life.
Lights do put more light on the AC unit (225 feet) and trees (600 feet) then the camera is showing, especially at 600 feet.

This pic is done separate from the videos. Distance is 432 feet on a map, but due to the angle it's probably more like 600 feet/200 yards. Pics of where the pics are being taken can be found in the Lounge, post #1214.

When looking at the beam profile on this light there are lines going through it. No idea what these are from, but nothing of the sort could be seen with our eyes.

MH20vn has just a tiny bit more throw (sometimes I can't tell at all) and a little wider spill, but slightly less lumen.
