Depends on the light really.

For pendant light:
1. UI (both hardware and software)
2. Beam, tint
3. Output

For other lights it's more like:
1. Capability to size, with capability defined as a mix of peak output, sustained output, peak throw, sustained throw, runtime. Exact mix depends on application.
2. (Distant) UI
3. (Distant) Overall quality

Though for some uses rechargeability goes to 1.

UI. The simpler the better.
Throw/Flood Would like a combination of both.
Build quality. Easy to hold/operate and tough as nails.

Prize: TBD
What to Post:
Name three things most important for you in a flashlight.
Your post number will be your "Lucky Number" for drawing

1. Will not grenade when exposed to high ambient heat (I am a firefighter).
2. Can be carried on a belt all day without causing significant fatigue (some non-trivial weight is OK).
3. High output thrower for size. Say 70/30 search/flood for bias.

1) I only need 4 modes, one has to be moonlight/ firefly, another one has to be turbo.

2) lanyards. I find I need that more than a clip, like when spotting something while climbing then letting the light drop at the wrist freeing up the hand. Or to keep it from dropping onto someone's head

3) compact. If I can't edc it, I probably won't carry it, though I've been using my man purse more lately so that ups the sizes I've carried (k30, rot66, gt mini)

btw, what's the prize this time around?

nevermind, I didn't see the tbd on the app

I guess no one saw your post or they've forsaken electronics for Labor Day. If I knew what I was doing I'd make the pick.

So we're generating a random number between 2771-2789?

I can do it but I'll have to send you the screen shot of the random number site for someone to post it

1. Runtime. It is nice to know I can be out for a few hours without worrying about running out of power.
2. Size, heft and solid side button for changing output. Fits in my big mitts.
3 Nice combination of throw and flood.
2780 congrats mniezen!

For bullet 2, a picture of your most must have? Does this mean from our collection, or from lights that exist?
