martonic, good question. He has never made these in VLOP. Drawing on the effect of his other VLOP, I suspect that it will work very well with minimal effect on throw.

WoW, I knew it had been a long time for these, but seeing that last sale was 3 years ago!!! You didn't mention, but it appears you improved the design not only by giving camless (better for KIU bulb holder), but also is the reflector/head all a one piece with surrounding HA/Chromed segment? If so that would improve heat transfer vs. previous design with separate, removeable reflector.

Just to pile it on. Looks like he made this run so that you can use the stock bezel. If you drop it or mar the bezel you can just replace it. The older designs used a custom bezel that was intergrated into the light and non replaceable. Methinks that if you damaged the old runs you had to live with it. Exellent design.

Any opening enlargement will void warranty and decrease performance.
You may consider FM3X, FM3H-3 or 2.5" Throw Master for use with larger bulbs.

I have to repeat this one more time:
There is NO such a thing as DEEP reflector for BIG bulbs. Just don't look for it.
