If we're sticking to cartoons I vote for "little helper" :p :grin2:

OOoooohhhh.... you're on thin ice here.... calling a true Anime classic a cartoon...

But I'd save that name for a light that is really extremely bright :naughty:

Oh, ya know I was just :poke:
I've loved anime for years, I know it's not just cartoons.

How about "Atomsk", from FLCL? Now there's a serious anime!

People might think Wayne at Electrolumens built a new light. He's discontinuing the Blaster series so it should not cause confusion in a year or 2.

Creative can be fun, but specially since it is an unfamiliar name it is somewhat obfuscating to say the least. :candle:

All due respect, B@rt, your thinking too hard, Craigs perspective on his creativity is significantly different from yours. :huh:
Yes we should include the modder's name and the company of the flashlight before it was modded, but if possible the name the modder gives to the flashlight should be considered in priority to the names you [Craig] would have given it:grin2:

The flashlights I named were *NOT* given names by their modifyers.
I would *NEVER, EVER* rename a flashlight or other product which was already given a name by its modifyer. Only flashlights which had no names to begin with were given these names

It is already simple to tell that the light is not an ElektroLumens product when you open the flashlight's web page, but to add additional assurance, I can add an asterisk (*) next to the flashlight's name, and at the bottom of the main menu page (probably just below the "LEGEND FOR ICONS USED:" section), add the following text:

* Not an ElektroLumens product.
