Wow! How long can it maintain the full 1400 lumen output? Also, how much to upgrade an existing D40A? This is a neat little light!

Incredible work Vinh! Can we just sit back for a second and appreciate the sheer power Vinh's pulled off 4 AA's?! I love it!

I already own one of these lights (stock) - Can I send it to you for the upgrade?

I already love this light - having a 4Amp high would be awesome :)

How much would you want for the dedome and the same tint bin that you used on the TK41 that I bought off you? I might be interested if it was similar in tint to that light and I prefer max throw anyways.

Wayne....is that your new "hand engraving" I see on the K40? Very nice. Very artful. Will be wanting that on all future purchases!!!!

ps....just received the T45Cvn in the mail last night. The beam is beautiful! No artifacts and throws great!!!! It's a good addition to my TN31vn and K40vn.

I fully agree! I have the neutral version and it's a great light and tint.
How much for the upgrade?

Dedome is Free. IIRC the LED used in the TK41 is also a neutral 5000K.

I am going to be offering hand engrave as an option for my future lights. Just setting up the benches for it now. I HATE Stamping! I suck at it!

Vinh: Did you or have you experimented with an xpg2 in one of these?
Just wondering how well it would throw with a smaller led?

Xpg2 would do better in T45Cvn due to the smooth reflector.
