So.. if OR had the bodies bored they sized to AW cells at that time?

What 18mm cells have you fit okay?

I have 2 of the OR bored lights from this thread so I'll tell you my experience. The one AW cell I own is a perfect fit, but I have been able to use protected Orbtronics and Keeppowers. A couple of my protected cells are too big to fit at all, most are very snug, and some slide fine with absolutely no extra room. All will require stickers removed.

For the stock length 9p 1x unprotected 18650 GA with bat tube spacer would be my choice, even tho defeats purpose for the 3x length tube. I guess primaries are always an option as well

Yep, same here.. Pany 18650GA 10A 3500mAh (pretty red) fit damn near everthing and reliable!

I wish Panasonic made a 18350 unprotected version
