Hey Vinh,

How many of these are you planning on? It looks like you've already got more buyers than the ten slots in the first post!

How long will it run on "high" before needing to be turned down to "low"?

Good question! That is usually my first and one of the most important for me.

I have a feeling it will be able to stay on high for awhile. XPG-2 from my experience w/ the OSTS TN31mb do not run hot at all. I can run that on max for 40 minutes in 60F w/ no problem.

My X10vn I believe is an XML2 and I can run that for 25 minutes in 55F w/out getting too hot.

I am sure Vinh will let us know!

Unfortunately, I can't justify a 2 mode light right now, so I've changed my mind and am going for the APvn since I can sell the wife on the strobe/firefly modes. But I am drooling over this thread.

XPG2 has lower forward voltage than XML2 even at 4.5 amps, reg protected 3400 should be fine

Let me get this straight. This light is a little smaller than the X Searcher, half the price and 1/4 the Lux with much more spill. Is that accurate? I'd love to see a side by side photo with something recognizable for scale.

Not sure if I'm allowed to link like this? But it might help get an idea how small this is....

link removed, got a feeling it's not allowed
