I have an A2 that won't keep constant on with incan bulb, with tailcap fully tightened. Works perfectly with momentary though.

I researched old threads - couldn't find info if it can be fixed.

Has someone experienced such issue or knows how to fix the tailcap?

Thanks!

In case someone will be looking for an answer in the future: electronic part of the tailcap in my sample sits too far from the body when fully twisted. Adding an oring solves the problem. Now I need to figure out something thinner to get the body and tailcap markings close together as I'm 3/4 rotation too far out with current oring ;)

I had a similar problem with my LX2, you could mash the button for high, but tightening the tailcap all the way down would not produce constant-on high. Slight manufacturing/assembly variations cause this issue between specific tailcap and body specimens.
I had to call Surefire and they sent me a replacement tailcap.

Thank you @sween1911 - I thought that might be the case.

I was told by SF that those tailcaps are no longer available - it seems like we're in for some home grown methods from now on!
