My second time to state this, but I've had no problems. IMHO, the percentages are kinda inaccurate as it relates to the question of reliability. If you don't own any or don't use what you have or don't even know what a Zebralight is, I'm not sure of the relevance of the statistic in a reliability vote? Some may disagree, and I do appreciate the thread and the poll so this isn't intended as criticism - just an observation.
So in that vein, let's take out the last 3 categories in the poll and see how it affects the results:
"Garbage…" | 2 | 1.74% |
"More failed than…" | 6 | 5.22% |
"Pretty reliable..." | 20 | 17.39% |
"Rock Solid…" | 87 | 75.65% |
| 115 | |
So 93% have been either rock solid or pretty reliable, skewed heavily towards rock solid. 7% failure isn't good - no doubt - in the OP poll that is more like 6%, but the 2 reliable ratings were only 80%, when of those actually owning and using the lights, again, it's much higher. And less than 2% are really unhappy.
It might even be interesting to know how many lights each voter has - each light represents one vote. I currently own 6 so I'd have 6 "rock solid" votes? I've probably sold more than that, and none of them failed...
YMMV. And as I said, this is a good thread and poll - no criticism. Just observation.
