No, the zip tie was what held mine back to only 3300mA. I'm hanging it all out at 3400mA now baby!

CMAG, I tried pushing the latch pin as far as I can push it with my old Palm stylus, and didn't see any potential problem. Another thing I did find is a secret hand written number under the spring coil making contact with the anode. I cannot divulge the secret code however.

Good to hear the lock does not self destruct, I pictured pins and spring flying off never to be found.
No number I can see under spring, maybe it will show up at 3.4 amps

Me too but the number is not the same as the light s/n. No zip tie so I pushed the pin in as far as possible-everything works just fine.

There was something so out of sync with the majesty of all the incredible Ti machining and precision, and then seeing a wanker piece of cheasy zip tie that quite frankly, I'm glad I can't find the little white scrap, and that James Bond wouldn't be caught dead with. It turns this light into a 1990's MacGyver light.

Bond never asked Q what that little zip-tie does either!

Anyway, the purpose of the zip-tie is . . .

top secret. ;)

Cheers
