Back around 1990 AD , I had this somewhat rectangular laser pointer, and I'm hoping somebody here has seen one and could perhaps be persuaded to part with it for a reasonable price.
.
It could use either two AAA cells or three N cells, it had an emission wavelength of 670nm at ~3mW, and had a red LED emission indicator just in front of its momentary membrane-style switch on the upper surface of its body.
It was shaped a bit like a slightly "swollen" rectangle with straight sides (the upper and lower surfaces were slightly bowed outward); predominantly colored black with a bright red plastic front end cap and bright red, wide plastic pocket clip.
Has anybody seen an old diode laser pointer like this?
