removing ballast

Does anyone know how to remove a ballast from a WAterfish M@GHID? I belive it's potted. I'm I s.o.l.?
I really want to use the ballast in a different host and use the mag body for another project.
Any advise would be greaty aprciated!

You may want to ask Waterfish or UFO about this since they would know if any kind of thermal adhesive was used between the ballast and body.

If not depending on what type of body you have (side or tail switch) the ballast can be driven out the front with a piece of PVC pipe.

Let us know what you find out.
