What to do?? i have a KL2 head that i don't use. I just don´t like the throw and tint.. I was thinking: Mod the head, maby a nice,deep reflektor and a single led. Use a2 cell body with RC123s..
Suggestions?? possible lumens and runtime? Can it be done?

As you notice i´m a newbie, but i´ve cought the bug ;)

"Milkyspit" is a custom-modder here on the CPF forum and is a specialist at modifying the KL-2. He makes a 180-lumen floodlight out of this head and everyone seems to be greatly pleased at the results. There are numerous threads here on the forum concerning his work and at least one of them deals with this exact mod. If you can't find it, PM him and he will send you a link. You won't be sorry with ANY work done by him - guaranteed!

MilkySpit is great to work with. I'm sure he'll steer you in the right direction. You'll have to let us know how the KL2 turns out! I'd love to see a 3XP3 or P4 Cree mod in one of these.
