questions on batteries for a mag85 mod

I know the nod saus use 9 aa which equal 13.5 volts and let them sit over night after charging before usind to lower voltages some what I was wondering if I could use 3 litium batteries which is 3 X 3.7=11.1 volts I think and not have to let to dischargw some or would this affect the brightness of the mod to much please correct me If I am wrong I am new so any info appresiated ty all

I don't think you have to let the batteries sit overnight, I think 3 hours should drop the voltage enough to not cause instaflash on the bulb. If you do want to go with lithium batteries, fivemega sells 14500 X 9 to 3D battery carriers.

The brightness should be about the same because of no voltage sag, but I do not actually have this setup so I am not sure.
