I've been playing around with the different configurations on this light and at the moment I am running two 14500's in it. On high, the output is amazing, somewhere around 110 to 140 lumens. It gets a bit hot so I keep runtimes short on high. On low with two 14500's, output is maybe 75 lumens, my guess. Still nice.
Question: Am I damaging the unit by running with two 14500's, or would I know by now if I was. Another light I have is designed for a single 14500, I found a AA extension tube that fit and loaded two 14500's into it. That light failed within about 5 seconds and is now broken, but the M3 keeps on working.
