I am looking for a step-up/boost converter that can take 3 cr123 primaries and run 3 SSC P4's at around 700-1000 mA. I know there is the shark, the Fatman, and I think i found one on Kaidomain's site here Just not sure what would be the best option. What will put out the least amount of heat? would this set up wind up popping the protection circuit on the batteries due to heat or high drain? I just want maximum light output from this set up. not looking for long runtime.
