As above really. I need to buy quite a few + a decent charger.

I've used this guy before and he's been pretty good

What are the vapex batteries like, they are obviously cheaper than the Sanyo Enloops but are they better value?

Any advice gratefully recieved

I spent all yesterday researching this same topic.

You will be pleased to know that the above link *is* the cheapest (once you factor in postage at least).
I purchased 3*AA and 2*AAA vapex yesterday, due to their much cheaper price.

Also, homebase have the uniross hybrio ones (pack of 4 AA) for a fiver, or tenner with a charger (slow one - 8hour).

hope that helps

you know that you've ordered standard nihm, not 'eneloop' type hybrid ones?

why didn't you go for the full vapex kit ? it was only £1 more

I bought some of them - for the first sixteen cells I got 2300mAh average out of them on the first refresh cycle. they've been used for a few months now (fairly lightly as I've been rotating them through camera, lights, cordless keyboard etc.) so running 4 of them through the charger to top off then run a refresh cycle to see what I get out of them. Will edit this tonight to show results.

Here is the data for 12 cells after their first charge and then after a few months' usage.
2289 2181
2284 2161
2208 2085
2302 2147
2304 2201
2358 2186
2267 2182
2251 2178
2285 2157
2281 2123
2445 2165
2212 2047
Average on first charge:2295mAh (On 20 cells). Average from 12 cells used daily since July 2151mAh. The other 8 got given to my Dad to run his new DSLR.

4 of them gave me on average 2155mAh after a couple of months of use.
Next set of 4 gave 2182, 2178, 2157, and 2123mAh giving an average over 8 of them of 2157mAh

Seeing as they are rated at 2100mAh I guess thats ok then

How does this stack up against the 2000mAh rated sanyo enloops as available from the same supplier, has anyone seen any data for them?
