SF L5

Hi folks.
Anybody got any idea when the new L5 will be released. Seems like I have been waiting for ages .

I stopped by the Surefire facility 10 days ago to pick-up a couple of boxes of SF123s.

The I was informed that the release date has been "pushed back" a few more months.

I'll keep pressing them for a more definitive date.

I wouldn't expect it before the end of Q2, but don't be exasperated if it pops up on dealers' web pages before the end of January '08. Theres is a litany of sales activity during this merry season that may invariably be a cattle call for the new product. Certainly there is no shortage of demand particularly on this board to keep the glandular salivary fluid flowing like a busted capillary on the nether regions of the Hoover Dam after a 7.5 on the Richter and just before the repair crew busts out the industrial buckets of Liquid Nails.

I'm sure SureFire has great plans for the L5's return. R2 or something even better??

My guess is they're still waiting on a better LED. I'd be surprised to see them before Summer 2008.

Any updates on the L5's release date?

I read in a thread somewhere here today that a SF customer service rep said 1st. quarter of 2008.
