2. I play a game/sport called airsoft. It is somewhat like paintball except our guns shoot plastic BBs and we play on 90+ acres of woods. When there is a full moon, we play night games. Therefore, I needed a quality, bright, long lasting flashlight. Our airguns only shoot to an effective distance of 50 yards, and so i didn't really need a light with ultra-throw. I did need a light that had intense light and a wide beam [to mask my squad's movement behind the light and expose the enemy in front of it].
I am so glad I found your site. While other research helped, nothing helped more than the educated, thorough postings herein. THANK YOU very much.
3. I have ordered a Streamlight 4AA 7LED OD Green flashlight from streamlightstore.com. The total after shipping was $25.93. Sweet. I'll update my post and let you know how the flashlight works in the central Texas country for this wannabe rifleman.
