Ok, so I accidently destroyed the little resistor on the board...
will it still work without it? or can i jsut bridge it?


oh, and is it safe to leave the shark board un-sinked if im running it at ~12v at ~4A

The resistor is key to making the Remora work correctly. It must be replaced. The board is not broken, but, not functional till the resistor is replaced. The resistor is a 1.5k 0402 SMT resistor.

NO Absolutely not. Drawing more than ~1/2 Amp requires some form of heatsinking on the Shark.
