Nice selection of lights :)

I dont have a 10W HID to compare right now,but the throw is a tad better and the total output is much better.
The tint is also more white than the 10W HID.

+ the startup time is much faster.

A absolute must have.
And if i can afford one later i will be buying this exact setup once again.

Just gotta move some cash :candle:

Thanks for the reference pics,
:)

I want to note that the light for sale looks much brighter than the
10W HID pictured.

Now i wish i had taken some pictures when i had it with me in a pitch black enviroment at the mountain. On top of that it was winter.
The Beam cut through the night, like nothing i have seen before.A true kodak moment.

Benny, slight correction, and my copying my post will carry forward thumbnails being clickable. The Mac label is for his Aspheric. These images show the 10W (Mac/FM made) marked as "Ellie" which is not as bright/white as your 14W version:

PS) That is an excellent price for a complete Ellie HID, not to mention a 14W !!!

Beautiful light. If I was looking to buy right now, this would be the light of choice.

With an FM body and Mac as the builder, you have nothing but great workmanship in this light.

Just adding my .02, I 've had both the 10 watt and currently own the 14w, the 14 watt version is noticeably brighter.

I like my lights bright but at the same time not too bulky. Not having owned an ellie before, I would like to know just how big is this light physically? If you have an SF M6, perhaps a side by side picture would be of help to me. Also, does it run on 3x18650 plus a dummy cell or 4x18650 in series?

Re: Cmacclel Elephant II 14W HID 1000 Lumens of throw. Price drop!

I have been using Ellie 1 for several years and for me its the first choise besides of the small edc-lights. They are so great that I am now going to get my first ELLIE 1 to be rebuildt to a Quad P7 in another setup than my ELLIE 2 Quad P7.

Just wondering why this isnt sold already. 2-3 years ago and the sale with Ellies was finished after a very, very few hours.
When you first do find out about how great this 3" head is -you wouldnt go back to 2"

The light runs with 4x18650`s no dummy is required.
The batteries are run in a serial config.

I`ll try to snap a pic of the light next to a M6 and a couple of other familar lights when i get home from work in about 5 hours.
