I've been thinking of getting this light
but I would like to hear from some of you
about how the beams look for both modes.
I don't think I want it if all those leds
in the reflector create unusable beams.
What's it look like?

Got one, I love it. Considering the reflector having 6 holes in it for the LED's, I think the Xenon beam is very good. Focusable to a degree. It's the brightest, longest lasting TT(LED's only, the 2D Xenon has longer, dimmer run time),I like the form factor (don't like fat D lights), the quality is superb.

The 3/6 LED choice is versatile, and has a useabliity way above the single LED lights, overdriven or not.

These Streamlights are the best value/quality lights I have ever seen. Period.

If any negative, none of the TT's focus to a VERY tight Scorpion/6P like spot; they focus to about twice the hot spot size as the before mentioned lights.

I have to agree with John...I especially like the 3 AA LS.

While you're at Quickbeams site, look in the reviews section for the runtime plot archive. The plots for the TT-3c are there.
