In case your interested GLP-III 20mw pointer

Just got this reply from Miss Ding at cnilaser.com
"For our GLP-III, the unit price is USD260.00/set based on FOB Exwork (excluding freight) for 1-10sets in one lot."

Since companies and individuals are moding their 5mw pointers to as high as 60mw PO I wonder what the PO can be tweaked too when starting with a pointer designed to run at 20mw.

I think heat gets to be the biggest problem in tweaking pointers, it is tough to put a cooling fan in a pointer.

I would suspect those GLP-III pointers might also just be 5mw units that were tweaked.

That thought occured to me that the GPL-111 might just be a tweaked 5mw pointer but keep in mind that many of the pointers being tweaked are manufactured by CNI Laser. It would be easy for them to adapt one of their preexisting products to run off batteries. I would say that it would be more effort to tweak then adapting a product.
