Polyeurathane based sealants from a decent manufacturer like Sika (e.g. Sikaflex 291). Polyeurathane expands as it cures so this is good for waterproofing.

A decent 2-part epoxy glue like Devcon or JB Weld (both contain micro particles of metal).

2-part epoxy putties. These have a higher viscocity than liquid glues, so good for filling up spaces and gaps, and won't ooze out with gravity as they dry. I use Selleys Aqua Knead-it to seal lenses to Maglite bezels, filling up that triangular trench in the bezel for plenty of surface area waterproofing and strength.

I'm using Sika 291 and already for a glass on a plastic body (housing for HC9).

More than 40m, no leak....yet.

In this project I used 3M Marine Sealant 101. For an even stronger bond, one can use the stronger 4200 and 5200 adhesives from 3M, but servicing parts might no longer be possible, which is why I decided on the Marine Sealant 101.
