Hi,
First post, long term lurker. Recently received an Apex Pro as a gift and couldn't find much information in the headlamps forum so decided to post. Kind of curious what folks think about this headlamp as I couldn't find too many threads devoted to it, a number of them about the base Apex which takes 4 AA's. I have a pretty good supply of Eneloops and some older PowerEx rechargables but I also have a Surefire flashlight that takes the CR123. My only complaint about the CR123 is the cost and the fact that I've already invested a good amount in rechargable AA's and a Maha charger. So what do people think, is the only difference between the Pro and the standard Apex weight and voltage regulation? On the fence about keeping this headlamp, thanks in advanced for any opinions.
