HID Flashlight Build Questions

Hey guys so for a while now Ive had a 12v 8Ah battery and a 55w HID bulb and ballast lying around my house. the bulb is in a housing already i was wondering if i could make a nice HID flashlight from this? will this battery be strong enough to power it? and is there any other info that i need to build this? light any help is greatly appreciated.

Don't know why you haven't had any replies yet. Yeah, that battery will power it fine. You might have difficulty getting a reflector though, you'd probably be best buying a cheap halogen spotlight and stealing the reflector from that

its already in a reflector housing. i basically used a KC automotive light housing. i had an extra one i was gonna use on my jeep but never got around to it and now i wanna use it for a light. im surprised i didnt get any responses either haha. if the battery is solid then im set to make a case for it and turn this puppy into a flashlight thanks for the help man.
