• Diameter: 14,3mm ± 0,2
• Height: 50,5mm ± 0,5
• Weight: 28g ± 1
• Charging method: CC-CV

AA sized 3.7 volt LiIon battery from Xtar.










The two batteries tracks fairly well for 14500 batteries, but definitely not perfect. The capacity is 800mAh at low loads but drops at higher loads.

The battery has an acceptable performance, but it is possible to find better performing battery (That are slightly longer).

That's somewhat dissapointing for it to come from Xtar. Better to get the Keepower 840mAh instead.

If you have space for it, the Keeppower is 1.5 mm longer.

Really!! Did not notice the length. Then, luckily for me my SC52 can take it although a bit tight.

The keeppower 800mAh(black) looks good and has the almost same track to ~2A current as 840mAh(black) 2014.

But their length are longer than Xtar 800mAh(black) as you mention. Do you know why their cells are longer?

HKJs' reviews are always excellent! It gave me confidence in buying my cells.

Wonder if the extra length is due to extra/better protection.

It looks like the Xtar battery is based on a cell that is slightly below a 14500 in length, more like a 14470 cell:

Oh! I can see that dimension on the shrink tubing of the cell. Thanks! :thumbsup:
