This is my first "high end" flashlight and I love every thing about it. From the user interface to build quality to the the lumen out put. The only thing that I just can't seem to understand is why is the anodizing done so shitty? The anodizing from the head of the light and the body are a different shade of black and a noticeably different thickness. The head is anodized perfect! But the body of the light is anodized so thin that just my car keys alone have scratched it off from just one days use but the head of the light is still perfect. Not even my less expensive Felix lights get scratched up so easily. Is this anodizing quality normal for HDS?
