Did it need to be smaller? If so that's not bad, just more possibilities for other AAA lights. I want a Preon 1 with a DriverVN.

Does the original AAA DriverVN have the same modes as the bigger DriverVN V1 or V2?

Re: The Must Have EDC! Coming Soon!

TISvn and ld02vn are very close to each other. I also dont have a TISvn with the exact same LED set up to compare.

This is by far the best clip I've used.

It fits super tight and does not slip at all. It also is a deep carry OR clip it in the other direction to your hat for a head light. The clip is from a stream light. I bought three of these clips. One for my LD02, SSEO5, and E99. I highly recommend it.

Dig it! I have actually been eyeballing this light for a while , since it was an rei only item. I always liked the rear clicky form factor and was hoping you would pick up on this model. Nice size, and Fenix quality.

One question: what was the led and tint in the light in the vid? That was nice.

I know prices are always high on these AAA size light especially with driverVN2 .... Would you want want an alternative less fancy driver that bring down costs? Alternative driver would probably be a 3 mode and less bright too...

I prefer simple comparison beam shots using a couple of your more common lights as a control.

Re: LD02vn - IMR10440 Clicky EDC

It's my opinion that an edc light must have 4 modes including moonlight. If it truly gets carried everywhere, then for me moonlight (.2 to.8 lumens) is a must. I like the thrunight t10tvn but it needs 1 more mode between moonlight and medium (like 10 -15 lumens). So I carry a ZL h52 with the pocket clip and 14500s. Pretty hard to beat, but I would like something a little skinnier sometimes. So if I got this light to replace my current edc, it would have to have the modes I need. 4-500 lumens is plenty but I could do with less in a aaa light.

3 modes could work if it was say 1)moonlight, 2)10 to 15 Lumens, and 3)whatever the max is, always starting on low. The stock Fenix ain't bad, but low needs to be lower.

Don't need a single mode light really.
